How to Cook Rib Steak — Two Recipes

Cut Details: 2 steaks per pack, 1" thick, bone-in. Total weight: 650–900g. Juicy, richly marbled, and full-flavoured.
Best For: Grilling, searing, or oven finishing on the bone.

🍳 Quick & Easy — Grilled Rib Steak

Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 12 min

Ingredients:

  • 2 rib steaks

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Optional: BBQ spice rub

Instructions:

  1. Bring steaks to room temp. Season well.

  2. Preheat grill to high.

  3. Sear each side 3–4 minutes.

  4. Move to indirect heat and cook another 4–6 min until 130°F internal.

  5. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.


🍷 Slow & Savoury — Bone-In Ribeye Roast (Pan + Oven)

Serves: 2–3
Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 30–40 min

Ingredients:

  • 2 bone-in rib steaks

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F.

  2. Sear steaks 2 min per side in hot pan. Add garlic and herbs to finish.

  3. Transfer to oven and roast 10–15 min, until 125°F internal.

  4. Rest 10 min before slicing.
